Of finest hope---- where no force can sever

The highways of Truth

Love is a bridge to Gethsemene

Love is a bridge 'cross to Calvary

Love is a bridge spanning Purgatory

Love is a bridge through Eternity

And the highways of my mind

Love is a tender flower unfurling

Love is a baby's fingers curling

Around yours---- to set your senses whirling

That searching foot upon one single purlin

Shows a bridge impervious to man

Love is that ever searching Muse

Which links our hearts with shared news

And feeds our dreams with vistaed views

Of Plains of Light---- wherein no Devil's ruse

Could shield him from discovery

Love is a light that even flickering dim

Has still the strength to shine within

And lift our souls across life's linchpin

That Fulcrum of the World---- wherein

Doth lie the entrance to the Bridge across Forever

So deep to deep and love to love doth call

Doth meet and greatly amplify in that resounding Hall

Wherein Love himself do dwell---- supporting any fall

In intensity of loves light rays---- eroding any wall

That blocks the Bridge across Forever

Deep to deep

All to seek

Love to reap
