Darkness fighting darkness does not produce a light

But deepens dark with dismal dirge; eye lost in the fight

Of dark and Dark, is by sight---- of ally shining right as might

To show up minefields on the flight from night

Anger's respond to evil, feeds it, makes it thrive

Blow for blow, in dark Despair, destroys the hive

The be alive, the joyous jive of light revive

The heart as pilot's pull-out from the dive

But light dispels the darkness in our soul

Good beats badness every time, when truth fulfills the role

Of weapons system fired in love, which then doth make us whole

In mantle of light, that evil can't slight without score of a losers own goal

But love the sinner, not the sin

Shine the light so deep within

The shadowed corners of the mind

Where darkest thoughts lurk deep to bind

For evil does not like the Light

Evil fears the very fight

When world looks on

With unencumbered sight
