GATEWAY read by the author

To be just as a suckling child

In peace, dependence, meek and mild

With feed of brother duly piled----

On plate of plenty forming key

To opened eyes and world to see

The thorn crowned head, the bended knee----

Supporting child, the hurt and ill

Supporting all who've had their fill

Of pain in life; the thorn filled Hill----

Made into crown, the death of sin

Impeding progress from within

A heart afire, a new begin----

In food of love

From lips of Dove

And light above provides the shove----

To errant child who spits out food

Who eats it only in the mood

Spelled out in Gospel, duly filed----

"You enter only as breast fed child"
