TREE OF LIFE

Oh can it be that Life itself is not the end

But space to learn and earn ourselves that friend

Who died to worldly Power, that spirit he might send

To lodge within our heart true love, that we might lend

Support to siblings of the King, when worldly forces rend

Their lives asunder

Oh can it be that home is not within this shell

That brother showed love beating death when all around him fell

And nails tore flesh and pain began with all the force of hell

For love of us, the errant child, death passed and grouped beneath the Bell

Of hope, forgiven men saw love and told the story of that well

0f Living Water

Oh can it be that loneliness need not exist at all

In our "still centre" lies a door to some gigantic Mall

Leading to life and Love himself and opened by the call

Of love reflected from our lovers light in that celestial Hall

Of Grace, wherein the Lord of Life gives audience at our behest;

penetrates the wall

Of Worldliness, with FAITH.
