Adfam www.adfam.org.uk 020 7928 8898 Adfam is a national charity working with families affected by drugs and alcohol and is a leading agency in substance related family work. It provides a range of publications and resources for families about substances and criminal justice and operates an online message board and searchable database of local support groups that helps families hear about and talk to people who understand their situation. Adfam runs a range of training programmes on substances and family support. It also operates direct support services at London prisons for families of prisoners with drug problems. Meet-a-Mum 0208 768 0123 Opening hours: Monday - Friday 7pm - 10pm Provide Helpline support for mothers and pregnant women who are isolated, lonely or depressed. Women can also be put in touch with other groups of women for mutual support and friendship.

Family Contact Line 0161 941 4011 Opening hours: Monday - Friday 10am - 10pm, Saturday 10am - 1pm Provides telephone listening support and counselling to anyone under stress and in need of a sympathetic ear. Deals mainly with marital and relationship problems, children, family and stress .
